Tree Preservation Techniques

tree_preservation_135

Sometimes trees are unnecessarily scheduled for removal. Apparent poor health, hazardous situations and potential or existing construction damage are some of the reasons that result in the unnecessary removal of trees.

Some of our common tree preservation recommendations/practices include:

  • Further inspection by a consulting Arborist
  • Deep root fertilizing
  • Cabling and bracing systems
  • Mulching around the root system
  • Target pruning
  • Tree protection plans (e.g.., identifying root zones, protective barrier recommendations, and on-site supervision)

Fortunately, there are many techniques and applications that our skilled Arborists can recommend and carry out to preserve trees and help them avoid the proverbial “chopping block.”
