Tsuga canadensis
native, evergreen, short green needles with white bands on underside, 1″ cones hang like tiny bells from the twigs, very slow growth rate, beautiful, strong, unique evergreen, prefers un-manicured natural areas. A common forest tree in Canada that is grazed on by deer. Great tree for privacy with very little mess, but needs to be planted out of the way of high traffic areas.
